Successful Pathways Program Information

Successful Pathways, formerly known as REACH Plus™, provides women and men in King and Pierce counties with the courage, knowledge, and skills necessary to become financially self-sufficient.

Our model is a five week program, 35 hours per week, for a total of 175 hours. Students may start Successful Pathways on any Monday. Program hours are made up of 15 hours of classroom training, 15 hours of homework, discussion board and independent work activities, and a 5 hour capstone project.

Successful Pathways curriculum includes:

Workplace Conflict and Stress Management
Top Tier Customer Service
Life/Work Balance through
Project Management
Microsoft Office Suite & Internet
Financial Literacy
Job Search Strategies
Interviewing Technique and Portfolio
Workplace Intelligence, Culture and Image
Career Exploration
Critical Thinking
Goal Setting

Students also receive Barrier Reduction/Case Management/Tutoring/Transitions assistance, all on a weekly

Successful Pathways hours are:

Class: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday
Lab: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm Thursday
(King County WorkFirst participants may be required to complete additional classroom hours on Fridays.)
