More than $68,000 raised at 34th Annual Luncheon

“This program helps people, it really does. It helps people transform their lives, become self-sufficient, and go out into the world on their own.”

Thank you to all of our donors, community partners, volunteers, and graduates who attended our 34th annual luncheon at the Hotel Murano. Thanks to your generosity, we raised more than $68,000.

Event speakers included Chantel, Jenn, and Nicole, all Courage360 graduates who used the skills they learned at Courage360 to transform their lives. You can see Jenn and Chantel’s courageous transformations firsthand in the video above, and read Nicole’s story here.

Dona Ponepinto, President and CEO of United Way of Pierce County, also spoke about United Way’s ALICE research, Center for Strong Families, and partnerships with nonprofits like Courage360 to combat poverty in our community.

Our luncheon could not have been such a success without your support. Thank you for helping us continue our legacy of empowering thousands of local women, men and families to achieve financial independence.

Thank you to our Table Captains:

Beth Brown, Kevin Brown, Marsha Burns, Jenika Burton, Charlotte Carper, Sharron Emerson, Bethina Golden, Cheree Green, Char Grinolds, Betty Hennion, Deborah Howell, Jamie McFarland, Lisa Paige, Sue Rand, Sharon Selden, Julie Sweeney, Sarah Taylor, and Lisa Wilson.
